Default Sweet pea 20lb to lose

Hi everyone,

I want to lose weight in time for my wedding in June. I'm hoping to lose 20 lb. I've seen the most gorgeous dress but they only had it in a size 10, I'm currently a size 14. I loved the dress so much that I put down a deposit on it so I'm really going to have to pull this one off.

The last time I was a size 10 I weighed 8 1/2 stone I currently weigh 10 stone 2 so I figure I've got about 20 lbs to lose in four months so it should be achievable and not too optimistic or drastic.

I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

ooooooh a wedding? How exciting! Wow we have a wedding on the forum. Me & Mrs B will have to go and buy a hat and Jimbob will have to polish his shoes. Neon will have to see if he can buy a suit which he can squeeze his muscles into.

Welcome aboard sweet pea, love the avatar!

Sure you can achieve 20 lb in 4 months particularly with the help and support available here.

Congratulations on the wedding

Thanks for all your replies its really heart warming

I'm doing well so far. Have had scrambled egg on toast for breakfast, a light salad for lunch and spaghetti bolognese for tea and have been nibbling on fruit and raw carrots.

I suppoes I ought to do some exercise to but not sure what I'm going to do yet, I've asked around to see if there are any good exercise classes near me. Nobody I know goes to any. I suppose I'd best ring the leisure centre and find out whats goingon when.

Thanks for the support.

Sweet p

Congratulations on the wedding, we'll put our heads together and see how we can acknowledge that!

Try swimming and/or aqua aerobics SP. Nice and gentle to start, and you can do as much as you like. Local authority pools are usually reasonably priced, and you could to it together with the groom.

When do we get to see the dress?
