Hiya Scarlet,

yes I'm doing fine just done my weigh in and another pound lost. So thats 2lb in a week I'm well chuffed

Thanks for the tips Neon. Keep them coming. I have been drinking loads of water and I like the idea of splitting my meals. I'm just scared I'll gradually increase the helpings and end up eating six normal meals a day. I might try splitting the evening meal though

Thanks for the support everyone

Well done MrsB

Why don't you try the light weights like Jimbob, you could do those whilst at home in between looking after the kids. I remember I used to do that when my kids were little... although often I'd have to restart time and time again as each time I got them out the kids wanted to climb all over me! But if you persist they will soon get bored.

Keep it up MrsB... little and often, you'll get there. How's the meal planning coming along?

Apart from the fact it's really hard work to put muscle on with
weight training, for a woman it would be extra difficult. There's
no risk of being musclebound and in fact a woman using light
weights with high reps, like 50-100 times, is only going to benefit
from it and work towards a toned shape in the end.

Thats right MrsB women hardly ever bulkas they don't have the hormones, even men have to work at it, just ask Neon. Light weight will tone the muscles as well as burning calories so its a good all round exercise plan. Just make sure you work you body evenly. You can get the hand held weights and the strap around ankle weights. Alternatively you could get resistance bans which are a cheaper alternative but just as effective and come in different resistance strengths.

OK the bands sound good think I might get some of those. Not too sure on the weights as the kids will probably pick them up and do themselves some damage the strap around ones sound good tho. Thanks Zoot
