I have tried the nicotine gum before it tastes foul. I've found the patches can take the edge off the cravings. I have made several attempts, I get up to a few weeks and then stupidly start again.

I have never wanted a cigarette as much as I do today, keep reminding myself that I don't smoke and the reasons why. I am chewing nicorette like mad and feeling very short tempered, but determined.
