So sorry to hear everythings not going well. I wish you really good luck with the tests, hope everything will be ok with you.

But I do agree that its not too late to give up, your quality of life as a non smoker with emphysema will be so much higher than that of a smoker. Try and make the best of it hun!

I also think you need to be in the right frame of mind, but don't be telling yourself constantly you're not, so you have an excuse to keep smoking! Champix is much better than Zyban anyway ;-)

Hi All,

Just a quick update. I am really disappointed with the NHS, I have phoned for a date for my scan and was told an appointment has been send out to me for the 3rd of March.

How do they expect people to worry themselves till they are ill waiting for their stupid appointments.

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.

I think they should ring you first as soon as they know the date of the appointment. Post does still go missing these days.
