Default Hello from FTP, just stopped!

Hi,
I thought I'd say hello.
Due to a very bad cold I gave up smoking earlier today. This time I'd like to stick to it, hence this thread which I'd like to use as my (non) smoking diary.
I've been smoking now for about 30 years (since I was 9 or 10!!).
Like most people I have tried to give up many many times in the past, but always unsuccessfully. The longest I think I haven't smoked is only a week or two. A month at most.
I really want to make a go of it this time. It's about 6 months till my 40th, and I am determined to be a non smoker by then.
I have had a really bad cold/cough for over a week now, & decided I'd use this opportunity to try to stop again.

Anyway, thanks for reading & I'll be back to update.
Wish me luck!
P.
