Default Is it acceptable...

...for a woman to make the first move? Or is this still considered to be too forward. Particularly interest in male opinions, but also women's too.

Thanks

Definitely not - as long as it's done with style and class!

I don't think there is anything wrong in women making the first move, but generally I wait for him to make the first move. I find it uncomfortable otherwise as you never know how he is going to respond.

I think it's definitely acceptable - I'm married with children, which proves it!

Gone are the days when men think women are forward. I think most men are flattered when women make the first move.

If you want him let him know. Most men are relieved of the presure from knowing when to make the first move.

I have to concur with the majority of previous Posters...

A woman ALWAYS stands a better than evens chance that a bloke will say YES, if she is the one to make the 1st move in courtship.

It has always worked with me.
I've often been too shy to notice that a woman has been interested in me, until she has virtually twisted my arm + shouted the fact into one of my lugholes!
...Even then it's been hard for me to have thought back to the time when I 'should' have noticed earlier...
