For the weight loss and fitness forums, a lot of members will be wanting to keep up-to-date with their progress and achievements to date.

If IMG tags are enabled users can have a nice visual indication at the bottom of their posts to show this, for example:





I'm sure a lot of members would find this useful. It's very easy to use, and if you enable the IMG tags in signatures I'll post some details of how to use this.

I like that idea, could it be converted for a timeline for smokers, showing how long since they had their first cig, and how much they have saved?

Yes, can be customised for whatever you need - weight loss/BMI/exercise & fitness/savings for smokers/pregnancy countdown for the maternity section etc.

Thanks. I've placed a few posts throughout the forum with instructions and various examples of how the ticker can be displayed.

I imagine as the forum gets busier you may want to amalgamate these into one and put the instructions in a suitable location.
