Exclamation nervous/anxious/stressed

Please help, i have no idea where to turn for advice. I'm so stressed at the moment. This is a long story but here goes:

I'm in a tribunal case against my old work where they dismissed me on medical capability grounds. I appealed and then applied to the tribunal for discrimination. The other side contested everything and it went to pre-hearing review (to be held next week) which was fine, i was all prepared in what i was going to say and then they wrote and said that they have dropped the part that was going to review but they still wanted to talk at the tribunal on that day. I have no idea what they are going to say or what happened, the other side have made it clear they don't want to settle so what can this be about?

In addition they sent a request for my medical notes, I don't want them seeing these because I was sent for psychiatric review after leaving the company and I don't want them to paint me as some mental case who's suing because she's a fruitcake.

I've been so ill worrying about this, I can't sleep for thinking about this and I burst into tears at the slightest thing and I've put on weight. I saw a psychiatrist who said i'm not depressed but that I should see a bereavement counsellor and talk to someone about my complex health problems, he then said the waiting list for this is too long and I'd have to go private which I can't afford because I don't have a job.

It's got to the stage where this is all i think about, i'm constantly getting letters and phone calls about the case and I can't get time away from it. I've started to crave chocolate and cigarettes even though I've never smoked in my life.

I can't talk to my partner about this because he's had some legal training and it's like a dog with a bone - i say i'm anxious and upset and he just goes on about this law and that, it's like he's completely emotionally detached from the whole thing.

anyone got any advice?

Yes - ask to see another psychiatrist.

They have a duty of care to you once you have been referred to them.

I know this response may be a little late (I've just come across your post) but I would love to hear how you are and how things have gone for you.
