Xanadu, there is a book by Allen Carr called the 'Easy way to stop smoking' you can find it quite cheap on ebay etc. It is well worth a read, it deals with the way we feel about smoking, about what is happening to you body when you give up and how to deal with the withdrawal symptoms. You will see many reference's to 'Monster bashing' on here. That is one of his expressions. It is well worth the time reading. Good luck.
